Strawberry Picking

La Trinidad, renowned for its delectable strawberries, plays a vital role in the local economy. Strawberry picking is a highly sought-after activity during visits to Benguet. The optimal period to visit the farm is from October to May, when the strawberries are at their peak ripeness. During the Strawberry Festival in March, visitors can indulge in the vibrant festivities and savor the finest strawberries.

Colors of StoBoSa

“Stobosa” is a portmanteau of the names of the sites where the artwork is situated: Stonehill, Botiwtiw, and Sadjap in La Trinidad, Benguet. Through community participation, designated houses were painted and transformed into a colossal mountain art wall that depicts iconic images of the region. This initiative, known as “STOBOSA,” goes beyond mere beautification; it embodies the collective aspiration for sustainable development within communities. It aims to influence and alter mindsets, creating a living environment where individuals can thrive harmoniously and productively. STOBOSA manifests as a singular mural, where the vision for a cleaner and more prosperous environment is imbued through the active involvement and participation of the community.

BenCab Museum

BenCab Museum is a private museum in Tuba, Benguet that houses the extensive art collection of Benedicto Cabrera, also known as BenCab, a Philippine National Artist for Visual Arts. Showcasing his paintings, sketches, sculptures, and curated indigenous Cordilleran artifacts, the museum offers a rich cultural and artistic experience set against a scenic mountain backdrop. 

Mount Pulag Protected Landscape

Often dubbed the “Playground of Gods,” Mt. Pulag is the highest peak in Luzon at 2,926 meters above sea level, with four major trails, namely Ambangeg Trail, Akiki Trail, Tawangan Trail, and Ambaguio Trail.

Haights Place

Experience the charm of Haight’s Place, a heritage site that traces its roots back to the early 1920s. Revived by the present generation of the Haight clan, the site now features structures built using repurposed walls from the original homestead. Surrounded by vibrant flower and vegetable gardens, it is also home to the Sakura Park—also known as the Benguet-Kochi Sisterhood Park. 

Adivay Festival

Adivay Festival is an annual cultural celebration in Benguet that showcases the province’s rich heritage, traditions, and indigenous identity through street dancing, cultural presentations, agri-trade fairs, and community events. It brings together the different municipalities of Benguet to highlight their unique customs, agricultural products, and Cordilleran pride while promoting unity and local tourism. The festival also features the Grand Canao every 23rd of November, a traditional thanksgiving ritual in celebration of Benguet’s founding anniversary and the abundance of blessings received by the province.
