Highest Point Philippine Highway System

The Kiangan National ShrineAlso known as the Yamashita Shrine or Bantayog sa Kiangan, it is a historic landmark in Kiangan, Ifugao, marking the site where Japanese forces formally surrendered in 1945. It stands as a symbol of peace, remembrance, and the victory of Filipino guerrilla forces during World War II.
The shrine features a monument designed like a traditional Ifugao house (bale), a viewing deck with sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, the Peace Mural carved by Alfredo T. Daguilat Jr., and the Ifugao Museum showcasing cultural artifacts and wartime memorabilia.
