Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary

Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary is located at the foot of Mount Kanlaon, known for its hot springs and a historical site, developed by Japanese Architect Kokichi Paul Ishiwata as a resort in 1927 with a picnic garden, bathhouse, and a cool haven for visitors through the years. This was declared a townsite on June 22, 1957, by virtue of RA 1964, spread over 23.6 hectares. Today, Mambukal Resort is also a Wildlife Sanctuary for large flying foxes, birds, and a diverse flora and fauna. Visitors can stay overnight in villas and cottages and the hotel, enjoy bird and bat watching, take short walks around while appreciating nature, or simply experience a dip into hot sulfur springs.

Sugar Beach

Treat yourself to a sweet vacation at Sugar Beach in the northern part of Sipalay City. Soak up the sun on the stretch of sugary, light brown sand lined with coconut trees.
